FNG Folks Operate Lyon Valley Northern

It was great fun to have Mike, Bill, Bob, Jim, Fred, John, Joel, Rob, Charles and Stan ofr the Friday night group come out and operate the railway. We had five operations running at the same time for 2.5 hours continuous. A coal drag, container intermodal doublestack, grain train, mixed freight and Richmond yard run. Thre also was a chance to run VIA passenger following completion of chores. Mike and Joel got that one.

Mine almost done

The open pit mine has a few more vehicles, coal piles and conveyors. Now I need to finish weathering the yellow vehicles to match those Mac dump trucks.

Here are some shots taken of all the other mine buildings. Still lots of details needed and a few conveyors. But it is getting there

Golf Course Completed

Of course it would not look right to have just one hole of golf and a par 3 at that. So I built a par 5 14th tee that you shoot up hill into the backdrop. Also I added a 15th 12th and 11 th in the painted backdrop. Now it looks like a full course. An ideal way to fill a corner and it was some ground foam, celluclay, dirt, paint, envirotex pin heads and a few figures.
